20 anni da allenatore ai massimi livelli del college football, vincendo il Campionato NCAA nel 1997 come Defensive Coordinator dell’Universitá di Michigan poi altri 15 nei professionisti della NFL, anche qui vincendo il Superbowl del 2010 come allenatore dei Linebackers dei New York Giants, è Jim Herrmann, il nuovo Assistant Head Coach dei Ducks.
“Sono davvero molto contento di questa opportunità; con la mia esperienza sia a livello universitario che professionistico, potrò aiutare gli atleti a crescere sia sul piano dei fondamentali che su quello della comprensione avanzata del gioco” ci racconta Coach Herrmann, “ho già avuto modo di incontrare lo staff tecnico e sono rimasto impressionato dalla loro passione e dedizione; insieme otterremo dei grandi risultati che rimarranno patrimonio del team per gli anni a venire”.
Coach Jim coadiuverá i capi allenatori Coach Pippin e Coach Scoppetta nella preparazione delle sedute e delle partite e sarà anche l’allenatore dei linebackers.
“ L’enfasi del nostro progetto sportivo é da sempre sui giovani e suoi formatori; con coach Herrmann garantiremo ai nostri atleti la possibilità di inseguire gli obiettivi piu’ ambiziosi, come giocare a football oltreoceano” afferma raggiante Fabrizio Cupellini, DS biancoceleste, dopo il sensazionale colpo di mercato.
“ Da nativo del Michigan, avere nelle nostre file il leggendario Coach Herrmann è per me un onore ed un sogno” dice Coach Pippin, “è un’occasione imperdibile per tutti i giovani atleti che hanno ambizioni!”
Coach Herrmann e sua moglie, la dottoressa May Chamoun, saranno a Roma dalla metà di marzo. Non vediamo l’ora!

20 year coaching at the highest level of College Foootball, winning the 1997 National Championship as Defensive Coordinator of the Michigan Wolverines, and another 15 in the pros, winning the Super Bowl in 2010 as the Linebackers Coach of the New York Giants, it’s Jim Herrmann and he is the new Assistant Head Coach of the Lazio Football Ducks.

Coach Jim will work alongside Coach Pippin, HC of the Ducks, and Coach Scoppetta, HC of the Fighting Ducks, with practice organization and game planning and will also coach the linebackers.
“The emphasis of our project has always been on our youngsters and our teachers; with Coach Herrmann we will guarantee our athletes the chance to pursue the most ambitious goals, like playing overseas” tells us Fabrizio Cupellini, the Lazio Football GM.

Coach Herrmann and his wife, dr May Chamoun, will be in Rome from the middle of March.
